Forensic Psychological Assessments
Forensic Psychological Assessments
Violence Risk and Threat Assessment
Our psychologists conduct structured, empirically informed violence risk and threat assessments across criminal, civil, and organizational contexts. These evaluations are conducted at various stages of legal proceedings, including bail, sentencing, and post-conviction review, and are designed to inform risk management, violence prevention, and mitigation strategies. Referral questions may include assessment of general violence risk and criminal recidivism, stalking and criminal harassment, sexual violence risk, intimate partner and domestic violence, identification of protective factors, and immigration-related risk determinations.
Criminal and Forensic Psychological Assessments
Our psychologists provide a broad range of forensic psychological evaluations addressing psycholegal questions relevant to criminal and administrative proceedings. These assessments may include opinions regarding criminal responsibility, fitness or competency-related capacities, treatment amenability and suitability, malingering and response style, diagnostic clarification of psychological and psychiatric disorders, including paraphilic conditions, and formulation of risk management and violence prevention recommendations.
